The Civil Air Patrol is the official Auxiliary for the USAF. CAP is charged to conduct three ongoing missions. Best known are our search and rescue/disaster relief missions, but youth education and development (the cadet program), and aerospace education for the community at large are also integral parts of our charter. OPEN MEMBERSHIP Year-Round: community members ages 12 - 100+ yrs are welcome to attend three meetings and apply.

Develop a broad knowledge of how spirits are understood globally and the social roles they play that will give you a new perspective on what Western societies consider ghosts, spirits, and the paranormal. Come to understand the importance of culture in this field of study. Learn about the different types of haunting and phenomenon. Various types of entities, their behavior, capabilities, and interactions with us, and how to best handle it will be explained. Psychological, physical, and spiritual aspects will be examined. Real Paranormal Investigation cases will be discussed and audio and video captures will be presented. This class meets at Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire. No discounts or vouchers.

Is your child struggling to learn how to ride their bike? Through step by step, engaging activities we'll help them with their cycling. Our kid-friendly instructors will provide a combination of personalized and group instruction to help overcome fears, teach important skills such as starting and stopping and help them understand how to maneuver their bikes around obstacles. This may be the only lesson they will need! Our fun, unique and proven instruction methods have helped hundreds of kids experience the joy of riding a bike. STUDENTS MUST BRING THEIR OWN BIKES! A properly fitted bike is essential for your child's comfort and safety. They should be able to sit fully on the seat with their feet flat on the ground. If you are able, please remove training wheels prior to the class. Registration fees need to be paid for each child. Accompanying adults do not require payment, but must remain on-site for the duration of the program. Children will learn balance, braking, steering, stopping and starting in a fun interactive class. The presentation reinforces the proper use of smoke and carbon monoxide alarms, and discusses heat sources in your home, and burn prevention. Class includes hands-on fire extinguisher training. We will learn the history and purpose of games in American Indian society while understanding the rules for various games. Participants will craft 2 different games and learn how to play them as well as experiment and play 5 other games. Rules for all games will be included in a take home handout. Learn the challenges that outdoor field investigation presents, how to best prepare yourself for the elements, and what you may come across. Besides the inherent dangers of hiking in the woods at night, various types of phenomenon are occurring. Bigfoot sightings, UFOs, ghostly activity, light anomalies, and the unexplainable abound. You will come to understand what is inherently natural even if seemingly unexplainable, and be presented with data and stories detailing the specifics of this on-going case. Native American, as well as other cultural influences have helped shape this area and hide its secrets. Scientific, cultural, and spiritual elements will be shared.
