Over the course of two weeks you will learn how to make authentic German foods. Southern German “Käsepätzle” is traditionally served casserole-style with hearty Gruyère and Swiss cheeses, and topped with caramelized onions. Comforting, melt-in- your-mouth bread dumplings make a great side dish but will be anything but plain when paired with a luscious, creamy mushroom sauce. You will also learn how to prepare a kid-friendly, mushroom-free variation of this dish. The legendary "Wiener Schnitzel", one of the crown jewels of the Austrian cuisine, is a breaded, buttery veal steak that is typically served with a slice of lemon and boiled potatoes. You will go beyond that and learn how to make a hearty and satisfying Southern German potato salad. This class meets at Stevenson High School in Lincolnshire. No discounts or vouchers. Register for this class through Stevenson's PREP program. You'll find the link in the Please Read section below.
