This class will be a potpourri of ways to look at and improve something we do every day: eat. Making one good meal is not difficult but doing it every day becomes difficult after a while. The objective of this class is to make it less of a chore and help you produce results you are proud of. Beginning and veteran cooks will benefit from our discussion about: watching a budget while making healthy choices in the different food groups; ways to save time and money; food safety (how to transport it and keep it); how to select fresh meat, poultry, and fish, and ripe fruits and vegetables; and quick and efficient preparation of weeknight and weekend meals.
