CourseGraphic Ever wonder what to do if you capsize while paddling your kayak? This class is a continuation of Recreational Kayak: Safety Basics and will focus solely on the rescue aspect of paddling after capsizing. In the safe environment of the pool, Certified American Canoe Association instructors will teach you how to rescue yourself and the people you are paddling with by using the different types of assisted rescues and self-rescues: paddle float, scramble, and T rescues. Students MUST have their own boats. Please contact lead instructor with the type of boat you will bring to class. No discounts or vouchers.
