ClassGraphic Come and learn how to make a T-shirt quilt. We'll cover how to prepare your t-shirts, what kind of fabric to use, the construction of the quilt, and possible quilting options. A supply list will be sent with the class confirmation. Limit 6. Gold Star Fee: $90.00.

Notice

Please read:  Supply List for “T-Shirt Quilt” • Sewing machine (if you want to bring your own, otherwise there are machines in the room) • Sewing supplies o Scissors o Pins (long quilting pins are the ones I use) o Thread for assembly and top stitching (your choice of color/colors) o Tape measure o Sewing needles o Etc. • Cutting board, ruler and rotary cutter o Mat should be at least 18 x 24 o Ruler should be at least 24” long and specifically made for a cutting board o Rotary cutter should be 45mm o There are kits that have a cutting board, ruler and rotary cutter • Washed t-shirts, bring as many as you want and we can work from there • Iron-on interfacing. I would get 1/2yd per t-shirt. The one I used was Pellon 911FF Once you have an idea of the design of your quilt you will buy fabric and batting.
