Greenland Kayaking Paddle Carving

Participants will carve a traditional Greenland kayak paddle using hand tools in a shop environment under the supervision of a professional boat builder. We will discuss selection of lumber, how to size your paddle, necessary tools and best practices for finishing and caring for your paddle. Pay the instructor a $50 material fee the day of the class.
