Showstoppers Summer Camp: The Descendants Grades K-2

This new camp provides children with an opportunity to participate in a musical theatre experience in an environment of encouragement and support. This original musical features age appropriate excerpts from the smash hit movie musical The Descendants. Boost your camper’s confidence level as they prepare for our final on stage performance. Daily activities include acting, singing, and dancing workshops. We will also go behind the scenes and discover the world of art, set design, and costuming. Your campers will participate in theme days, water activities, and have the opportunity to be engage in a one-of-a-kind workshop lead by an industry professional.

The Children’s Theatre Co. has been empowering children through the performing arts since 1993. Our goal is to excite and embolden your child to generate imaginative ideas through the medium of musical theater. We focus on building skills such as team work, confidence, body control, memorization, improvisation, and more. Most importantly, we teach the basics of singing, acting, dancing, while expressing mood, emotion, instinct, and independence.
