You will be instructed in the American Heart Association theory and operation of the automatic external defibrillator (AED) device, and adult, child, and infant CPR, and choking. The course is intended for those who respond to pre-hospital situations and must manage the patient until basic life support and/or the paramedics arrive. This course requires the successful completion of a skill evaluation. A course completion card will be issued which is good for two years. A textbook fee is included in the tuition and will be provided at class.
