Welcome to Community Education
Our site is packed with user-friendly information about our program ranging from programs to cancellation and withdrawal policies. Graphics and text help the user navigate to the area of our site where they want to go. Students may register online using VISA or MasterCard, or for those who do not want to register online an application can be downloaded and printed from our web site, or you can call us at (847) 932-2176 to get more information.
Check out our special offerings at the right under both "Featured Speaker" and "Featured Classes". These are courses that have been very popular in the past and may be of interest to you. Please note you can select "course series" on the top of the next page once you have clicked on courses to see discounts we offer on sequential courses if registered for at the same time.
How to Navigate the Community Education Web Page
1. Print this page, then hit the back arrow or the link at the top to return to the Community Education home page.
2. On the Community Education home page, click on the Adult or Family & Youth link at the top.
3. In the left column, click on sign in.
- If you have already created a student profile for yourself (taken a class with us in the last three years) and you remember your user name and password, go ahead and sign in.
- If you have already created a profile, but have forgotten your log in information, please do not create another profile. Click on Forgot your password? and we will send you your profile notice shortly.
- If you are new to our program, you will need to create a new student profile. Click that button and here you will have the option of creating a single user profile or a household profile. (Note: If you or other members of your household already have profiles set up and would like to be associated into a household account, please call our office for assistance. You will not be able to do this part yourself.)
- The benefits of having a household account are:
- Not having to re-enter common data for each member of your household
- Vouchers or credits on file for one family member will be applied to the next family members’ registration
- You will be able to see each household member and a list of each one’s transactions
4. Once you have signed in, you will come to our Announcements page. For course information, go to the top of the left column and click on courses.
Helpful Hints
In the course description area, anything appearing in blue is an active link to more information:
- Clicking on a course title will link you to the course description.
- Clicking on the instructor’s name will link you to a short bio for that person.
- Clicking on LHS or VHHS will link you to directions to that campus.
Anything in red is important information regarding that class.
Online registration is set up to accept VISA or MasterCard payments only.
